Are you a musician looking to get equipment to ...

Are you a musician looking to get equipment to start creating projects of your own? Building a home recording studio suited for sound quality and filling it with proper equipment is key to a great production:

-Computer: If you want a new computer, then it is probably best to go with a mac. Although they are more expensive, they sync well with your studio equipment and recording software, where you may run into trouble with a pc.
-Digital Audio Workstation and Audio Interface: DAW is the software on your computer used to edit, mix and record your music. They can be bought separately, but we recommend buying them together as both are essential.
-Headphones & Studio Monitors: 2 types of headphones to choose: Closed back headphones (tracking) and open back headphones (mixing). Monitors are for mixing purposes, where you listen to your recordings and check the sound quality is perfect.
-Microphones: Some types of microphones you can choose from are USB, Condenser, Dynamic, Ribbon and Drum microphones. Choose a microphone based on what you will be recording, you should be fine with using a single microphone.
-Cables: There are 3 cables you need called XLR cables: two short (6ft) XLR cables and one long (25ft) cable.

Not to mention that by applying to AIMM you learn online and get either a degree or a certificate from your house!
