Duluth, Georgia based Atlanta Institute of Music and Media (AIMM) is pleased to announce that they are now offering a Guitar Performance Certificate. The Atlanta Institute of Music and Media offers majors in music and media, including but not limited to Music Technology, Music Performance and Recording Arts Technician.
The new Performance Certificate for Guitarists will allow guitarists to fully master the instrument and the art of performing, and it can be completed in as quickly as 12 months. The program is designed such that, should students who complete the Performance Certificate for Guitarists decide they want to continue their education and learn about the music production side, their Guitar Performance Certificate courses can be seamlessly transitioned over to the Music and Technology Associate Degree: Guitar Concentration Program.
AIMM President Nite Driscoll, “At the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media, we have always prided ourselves in providing music and media education across the board, but we have always felt that our guitar programs were lacking something. The brand new Performance Certificate for Guitarists is intended to fill that gap and serve the needs of students who seek to master the guitar. If you are an intermediate guitarist and want to get certified, we can proudly state that Atlanta Institute of Music and Media is the place you are looking for.”
According to the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media, the certificate will provide students with the education to improve their guitar performance skills and show them the tools they need to gain employment in the field. The program is meant to fit students' necessities and give them 100% peace of mind, so the Guitar Certificate Program (much like all of AIMM's programs) can be taken online, on-campus or in a hybrid model. Furthermore, the program can be completed in 12 months (4 quarters) of ¾ time enrollment.
Driscoll says, “With our fast-paced learning environment, outfitted with state-of-the-art production, audio and video equipment, our students will feel their music career starting from the very beginning. But that’s not all. The opportunities are practically endless when you study with us. At AIMM, you won’t just be mastering the guitar — you’ll also be able to meet life-long industry connections and surrounding yourself with like-minded guitarists. AIMM's campus is ripe with potential, collaborative opportunities and instructors who have conquered the music industry and are willing to help you find your own footing.”
The Atlanta Institute of Music and Media says that, with their help, students will grow confident and intelligent musicians, producers or live sound engineers, which in turn will make them more than capable of handling more demanding and better-paying jobs in a competitive market.
Studying at AIMM also gives students a number of other important benefits, such as a work-study program (that affords those with financial difficulties the opportunity to get a part-time position within AIMM’s campus departments) and a vast musical curriculum experience (where students can experience musical flavors from all different genres, including, jazz, classical, rock, folk, blues and R&B). More importantly, students will also get a job placement upon graduation. Driscoll explains that students work with a Placement Specialist to produce a resume during the final quarter of attendance, following which they may begin exploring in-field employment opportunities.
The Atlanta Institute of Music and Media is proud to state that their students have gone on to work with great musical artists and companies. Artists who have worked with AIMM’s graduates include Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Childish Gambino, Mary J. Blige, Ciara and more. Further, AIMM’s graduates have also worked with companies like Honeywell, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Comcast, Aflac and so on.
