Are you a guitarist that wants to learn how to ...

Are you a guitarist that wants to learn how to play the guitar without sacrificing accuracy? If your main goal is to shred at lightning speed when playing an electric guitar, here are some tips you should consider to accomplish your goal:

-Take it Slow: Try focusing on accuracy and precision and let muscle memory do its thing instead of practicing fast and incorrectly.
-Avoid Tension: The brain can sometimes translate the word fast to challenging. What manifests, as a result, is physical tension, which makes playing guitar in general, quite difficult.
-Hand Synchronization: It's critical to have both hands working succinctly so that you hit the string at the exact time for the note to come out as clear as it can.
-Play with a Metronome: Timing is critical. If you become used to playing at one speed and develop that muscle memory, adjusting can be challenging on the fly when performing in a real musical situation with a live band.
-Practice at Different Rhythmic Subdivisions: Practicing with varying rhythmic subdivisions can help add additional skills to your guitar tool kit.

Our guitar instructor, Cameron Allen, shows you how to apply these tips on video completely free as well as more detailed information by clicking the learn more button.
